Our vision is to cultivate an urban-focused, small group driven community of missionaries that wholeheartedly worships God, unconditionally loves all people, and boldly lives out and extends the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, through Jesus Christ.

We think small groups are just as important, if not more, than our Sunday morning service. You should check out our groups if you are going to check out our Sunday worship.

The church has gathered out of numerous locations since its inception but recently relocated back to its downtown roots and is in the process of restoring the former Central United Methodist Church building.  The CUMC has had an historic ministry in the city for well over a hundred years and New Comm is honored to continue their work in being a light to the city.

We are casual and laid back. Our pastors wear jeans, our carpet is stained, and we will welcome you on a Sunday morning or into a group whoever you are or whatever place in life you find yourself.
