Communitas has partnered with the Scottish Network of Churches in creating Launch, a 10-month residency in Scotland for emerging leaders and church planters. During their time participants will be engaged in a local ministry, meet weekly with their Launch participant cohort, and receive targeted coaching and spiritual direction. Multi-day retreats will focus on TheDynamic Adventure and Soul Care; single-site visits will spend a day experiencing a missional project connecting with its community. During Launch, participants will learn how to use their gifts imaginatively and collaboratively in a truly post-Christian context.
A 10-month pilot program for Scotland-based participants concludes in October, 2024, followed by a new group beginning their 10-month participation in January, 2025. Scotland based prospective Launch participant are encouraged to apply before the end of October, 2024. Once arrangements for visas are made, Launch will begin adding an international participant cohort for full-time, 10-month residencies in Scotland.
