After many years of leading new kinds of churches, we have helped develop Launch, a joint project of Communitas and the Scottish Network of Churches. Launch is a 10-month ecumenical training program that equips leaders to discover new ways to plant churches or revitalize existing ones. Through a blend of online and in-person learning, coaching, and soul care, we explore practical strategies to help the local church and its leaders thrive, multiply, and serve amidst the complexities of a changing world.

One example is Isabella, a leader from Glasgow, who participated in Launch’s first training cohort in 2024. Through regular coaching and support, Isabella gained the confidence to start a new church in her community. Her ministry team hopes to lead its first service by the end of the summer. Her story is just one of many lives and communities transformed through Launch.

We are currently serving as full-time missionaries with Launch and Communitas International. We are seeking additional financial partners to join us in this mission and help expand our impact in Scotland, the rest of the UK, and beyond. Craig has been a local church pastor in the US for over 30 years. He has helped plant a new church, organize a new worshipping community, and revitalize congregations struggling to discover their mission. He has been supporting church planters and emerging missional leaders for most of his career.
