I recently “retired” from a 45-year career in journalism, public relations, and marketing communications.  But I’m not really retired!  While working part time as a freelance writer and editor, I’m also spending time teaching English to adults, whether they’re immigrants in the U.S. or English learners in other countries.  I’m also helping Communitas with its communications efforts.  In these ministry roles, I’m eager to spread the word about the love of Jesus Christ and His redemptive work in individual lives and churches.

On a personal level, my wife Meredith and I were raised in the Philadelphia area.  Meredith is a Penn State graduate and I graduated from Temple University with a B.A. in journalism and history.  We met at church in 1982 and married in 1984.  We live in beautiful Chester County about 25 miles west of Philadelphia. After raising two wonderful sons, we’re enjoying this exciting new phase of our lives when we can invest more time in building relationships and serving others.  To relax, we like to get outdoors to walk, bike, and hike.
