Denver is a major urban gateway to the West, home to an amazingly diverse population. From the wildly liberal to the ultra conservative, from the strictly religious to the spiritual-but-not-religious, our cultural bandwidth is wide and colorful.
What does this mean? For Communitas it means that no template for “church” can be laid over any area of Denver with the hope of success. Instead, we seek to embed into our neighborhood micro-culture in a way that opens doors to friendship, hearing story, and sharing life.
In the urban core downtown, and in the outlaying suburbs, we have Communitas team members who are reaching into their contexts, and praying to be the kind of incarnational witness that draws people closer to Jesus.
