Lee Williams

Greetings!
My name is Lee Williams, and I served as a missionary in Latin America for over 15 years, ministering across multiple countries through church planting, discipleship, and theological training. My passion for the gospel has led me into diverse cultural contexts in Peru, Chile, and Argentina, where I had the privilege of working alongside local believers to equip and strengthen Christian communities.

While serving as a church planter in Arequipa, Peru, I met my wife Dorothy—a North Carolina native. Yes, it was one of those “love at first sight” stories, and a year after we met, we were married. Shortly after, we began our family and now have four children: one born in Peru, two in Chile, and our daughter in the U.S.
After more than a decade of international service together, we returned to the U.S. in 2016 so I could pursue graduate studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. For much of the past decade, our family has been learning how to minister faithfully in the context of 21st-century America. With a heart for both academic study and practical ministry, I am committed to bridging the timeless truths of Scripture with the complexities of modern life.

Most recently, I’ve been serving as a Bible teacher at a Christian high school in Charlotte, NC. Engaging daily with teenagers—walking with them through their struggles and pointing them toward the high calling of Christ—has been both a great challenge and an incredible blessing. I also continue to travel to Latin America, creating opportunities for young people to broaden their vision of the world Christ has called them to serve.
