Job Description

We are looking for someone who wants to do something intense and creative and challenging with the next segment of their ministry life. In and around Lisbon there is a group of Jesus followers who are mostly permanent-resident expats. They were part of a thriving small church and now stay connected socially or through gathering for prayer or fellowship because of their long association of shared faith and friendship. They are in need of servant leaders who can gather the scattered, engage local Portuguese with the Gospel and nurture a fellowship.

Grace was the name of the former church and a grace-focused vision, healthy biblical discipleship and engagement with the Kingdom mission of Jesus is what we are looking for. We are praying for leaders who are willing to pour their lives into this community, to foster the love and care they have for each other and help them engage missionally in service to the surrounding area. Funding

The salary and ministry expenses of this position are funded through personal support raising. Applicants will be asked to go through the Communitas International Missionary Candidate Process including fundraising, if needed, and orientation prior to starting the position. A funding plan for this position will be provided during the deputation process.
