With a passion for Jesus, Spanish, and adventure, it just made sense when the Lord called Mary Ann to Spain! After spending a month there in summer of 2022, she not only fell in love with the people and culture, but also felt deeply heart-broken over the spiritual poverty she witnessed. With a love for the Spanish people and language, she returned home for her senior year at Auburn University where she sensed a call to crosscultural ministry, and even declared a Spanish double major! The Lord confirmed this calling as He faithfully led her to partner with Communitas International where she is thrilled to join God on mission in Valencia, Spain. She will be interning with a neighborhood-based church plant called Poiema Colectiva that aims to build community for many who have never followed Jesus or been part of a church before.

Mary Ann has a passion to shepherd people into the true freedom of Christ and the joys of abiding in Him. She longs to help people experience a more abundant life by diving deeper into relationship, both with God and with one another. She loves doing life with the people around her, whether over a meal, at a coffee shop, on a hike, or any of her other adventures! No matter what Mary Ann is up to, fun is always in store!
