Tim and Renata Constable
Tim and Renata Constable joined Communitas International in 2004 while Tim served as the Director of Arts and Worship at International Christian Fellowship in Warsaw, a Communitas and Christian Missionary Alliance joint project. After a year of fundraising in Canada, and a year of internship in The Hague, they returned to Warsaw in 2008 to rejoin the work of evangelicals in the city. Since then, a hockey team was founded, a food to the homeless ministry was started, worship leaders have been activated and sound technicians trained.
For the last year, Renata has been leading the children’s ministry at City Church. It has been a growing and fruitful time for her as she has recruited teachers, introduced an exciting new interactive curriculum which gives the kids a clearer picture of the Gospel being a story spanning from Genesis to Revelation and in which Jesus is active from beginning to end. In Fall 2017, She took a new role of working to build relationship with the city administration and other groups that care about the souls of our city, thus extending the reach of God's kingdom in Warsaw.
In October 2015, Tim was asked to initiate a second service at ICF that we would call The Gathering. Its purpose was to give a more evangelistic outlet for the church. In January 2016, the meeting moved to a new location right in the middle of the nation’s capital.
On October 16, 2016, City Church Warsaw had its first service as an independent church. It is growing quickly and we are excited to see what God has in store for it in 2018.
Our goal is to introduce English-speakers in Warsaw to Jesus through authentic friendships, simplicity of message, excellence of presentation, and to develop them as disciples and leaders, reaching towards their full potential in Christ, in order to impact our city and cities around the world.
Tim and Renata live in Warsaw with their 13, 10, and 7-year old children, all of whom were born in "the field".
